dancified classes are taught by me, Lori, a professional dance teacher who is a “grown-up” with many years of teaching experience. I grew up dancing in Ottawa, did the competition scene and then went off to train professionally. I trained at some amazing schools in New York and Chicago (Broadway Dance Center and Giordano Dance Chicago to name two) and then decided that my favorite part was choreographing and teaching. I love being in the studio. I have taught all ages and levels and choreographed for different dancers and shows but I have always particularly enjoyed teaching dance classes for adults. (adults aren’t there because their mother made them.) I am trained in and have taught contemporary, jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, hip-hop, musical theatre and more. I am also a mom to two awesome kids who laugh at my car dancing daily! I have had some amazing times in the studio, getting sweaty and crazy with the grown-ups, and I am really looking forward to dancing with you too!
